Our acid free tissue paper is abrasion resistant. Our tissue wrapping paper is a specialty tissue paper used when finishes are to be preserved for long periods of time. Unless the tissue wrapping paper is clearly marked ‘acid free tissue paper’ it will have traces of acid left in it from the manufacturing process. Acid free papers are a little more expensive because of the additional cost of manufacturing; it is not discount tissue paper. Acid free tissue wrapping paper is perfect for wrapping small collectibles. Acid Free Tissue Sheets can also be used for collectibles made of synthetic materials like polyester and nylon.

Caring for your treasured Christmas ornaments.
To care for and protect your Christmas ornaments for years to come, please be mindful of the following suggestions. Wrap your Christmas ornaments individually in acid free tissue paper and pack your ornaments securely in a sturdy shallow box, making sure not to place too many layers in a single box. One layer is ideal. The ornament storage box should be very sturdy and made of paper. Plastic bubble wrap and or plastic storage containers do not allow the Christmas ornaments to have proper ventilation. Particularly if the Christmas ornaments are stored in a warm place like an attic or in a humid place like a basement. Also be sure to take care to store your holiday ornaments in a safe, dry place away from water, sun or fluorescent lights and other outside elements.

WINTER WARM UP RECIPE

Relax and settle down after the holidays with this winter evening favorite.  You can prepare this home made party favorite long before the party starts.

Carmel Pop Corn Recipe.

Makes 2 gallons of pop corn.

Ingredients:

2      Cup brown sugar (pack down firmly)

2      Sticks oleo

1/2   Cup white syrup

1      Tablespoon salt

½     Teaspoon of baking soda

1      Teaspoon butter flavoring

Combine sugar, oleo, syrup and salt. Boil for 5 minutes. Stir in butter flavor and baking soda. Pour over 2 gallons unsalted popped pop corn. Pour pop corn into large pan. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes.
