Techniques for Personalization.
First you will need a permanent marker. We like the ' Ultra Fine Point ' Sharpie. The Sharpie is quick drying, and nontoxic. The Sharpie comes in a rainbow of colors. They can be purchased at most Office Supply Stores.
Next print off this practice page. Take a few minutes to practice tracing over the large letters below. Then use the blank lines provided below and practice printing the name free hand between the lines. Repeat until you are happy with the results. Now print the name on each of the three practice ornaments at the bottom of the page.
Next take a blank sheet of paper and trace the outline of the ornament you are going to print on. Lay the ornament on the blank paper and trace around the ornament with a pencil. Now practice printing the name in the paper ornament outline. Repeat until you are happy with the results. Remember that once you start on your ornament you will have to be exact.
Finally make sure that the ink is adequately flowing from the pen tip. The size of your print will fit inside the space available on the ornament. Make sure that the name is spelled correctly. Click to see a listing of all of our Christmas Decorations Ideas.
Note: If you can find a Sharpie that matches the background color of the ornament you can color over most errors. White out works for most white backgrounds.

Practice printing between the lines. For large letters print between the two dark solid lines. For small letters print between the dashed line and the bottom solid line.
