Jewelry
Jewelry is personal decoration, such as a necklace, ring, or bracelet, made from gemstones, precious metals or other materials. There have been many different uses of jewelry throughout the years. Select this link to view our Crystal Angel Pins.

Jewelry’s first uses were for showing wealth, storage and pinning clothes together. Today, however, jewelry’s most common use is decoration. Early pieces of jewelry were made of more natural sources like bone, animal teeth, carved stone, wood, and shells. In the past, jewelry was made to show importance or status in society. It was not uncommon for them to be buried with their jewelry. Select this link to view our Crystal Lapel Pin.

Ancient Egypt showed the first signs of jewelry making some 3000-5000 years ago. They chose gold over other metals for their jewelry because of it’s rarity, luxury, and the workability of the metal. Jewelry came to show religious power and symbolize power in the Egyptian society. Worn by the powerful in life, jewelry was also worn in death, being placed in their tomb at the time of burial. You can still see the many different uses jewelry still has today in many cultures. People show their association with a group or organization by wearing jewelry. For instance, the Star of David or the Christian crucifix are examples. In Western culture, the wedding band symbolizes the union of marriage. And in some cultures wearing amulets or other pieces of jewelry are said to help ward off evil spirits or are used for protection. Select this link to view our Crystal Favor Pins.

There is a piece of jewelry for any part of the body. From your hair to a toe ring to embellish your feet, there is something for every part. Although high quality jewelry has been a choice pick because of it’s precious metals and gemstones, new art jewelry is being coming quite popular. It is prized for it’s creativity and design. Costume jewelry is also popular because of it’s inexpensive nature, being mass produced from cheaper materials. New styles include wire sculpted jewelry, mixed with precious gemstones and metal, to various stones. Select this link to view our Bohemian Crystal Pins.

Angels.
Angels are Immortal spirits that appear to mankind at important moments. They appear to man as messengers of god, bringing messages of comfort, warnings, tests of belief and deliverance. They are also bringers of peace and goodwill. The New Testament tells how the Angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks to bring them good tidings of great joy, the Birth of Christ, and the multitude of angels proclaimed, Glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace, goodwill toward men.
Everyone has a guardian angel watching over and providing protection from harm. Spreading their loving wings, guardian angels escort us all securely through life. They help lessen our fears and misery, allowing us to be optimistic about whatever the future brings. Select this link to view our Crystal Guardian Angel Pins.
