To ensure that your tree stands up straight
make sure to follow these simple steps:
1. Make sure that the wing screws on the tree stand are screwed in an equal distance BEFORE you place the tree base into the stand.
2. Insert the base of the tree into the tree stand.
3. Screw each wing screw in one half turn at a time.
***This will ensure that your tree does not lean in any direction, and will make it easier for you to ensure the base of the tree (inside the stand) does not move while you are screwing in the wing screws.

Tree Storage Preparation
Prior to setting your Christmas tree up, if you want to make the process of taking it down quicker and easier, you may want to consider following this simple plan (keep in mind this plan is intended for use with the Clear Poly Vinyl Tree Bag, not for any canvas bags):
1. Before you place your Christmas tree into any tree stand, lay flat your poly vinyl tree bag and find the middle of the bottom of the tree bag; the side opposite the opening where the base of the tree would touch. Make a hole in the bag just wide enough for the pole of the tree to poke through.
2. During the setting up of your Christmas tree (just after step 1 of the directions above titled “To ensure your tree stands up straight”) as soon as you have the base in its desired location, place the tree bag over the stand and allow the stand to protrude through the hole you made in the base of the bag.
3. Then simply roll the remainder of the bag down on itself. You can then place a tree skirt over the base and the bag to disguise this from any guests and keep a nice appearance.
4. After Christmas, when its time to take the tree down, simply remove the tree skirt and unroll the poly vinyl bag over the tree as you pull it out of the tree stand.
5. Within a few short minutes, your tree is down and inside the storage bag and ready for you to discard the tree or place it into your storage facility.
