This Snowman Electric Light Candle stands about 12 inches tall from his snow-feet to the top of the snowball on his red stocking cap. In his right hand he is holding a red and purple striped stocking with green heel and toe, the Electric Light Candle sticking out of it. The candle base is blue with a snowman on it. The candle flashes to the tempo of the music or can be turned to just flash or twinkle without the music. He plays a partial verse of 12 popular Christmas Songs; Angels We Have Heard on High, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, It Came Upon A Midnight Clear, Noel, Silent Night, O Christmas Tree, Upon the Rooftop, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Joy to the World, Deck the Halls, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. This Musical Frosty Snowman is holding a broom in his left hand. He is also wearing a green scarf and a red sweater with snowmen and Christmas trees on it. On his lower body is winter scene with 2 snowmen in the foreground with red cardinals and 2 homes and trees in the back ground. Select this link to view our Music Boxes.

History of the Broom.
The broom is a bundle of straws or fibers tied or bound by machinery to a long handle. It is used for sweeping or brushing. An early type of broom is the besom, which was made of twigs tied to a wooden handle with strips of cane. The modern broom is an outgrowth of the besom. Brooms may be specially designed for different tasks. The Carpet Sweeper is a long handled sweeper in a box on wheels. A revolving brush is rotated and sweeps as the box containing it is pushed along. The first practical carpet sweeper was invented by Melville r. Bissell of Grand Rapids Michigan in 1876. Snowman Information.
Long ago, when toys were scarce and the closest neighbors could be miles away, children looked forward to the year’s first snowfall with great anticipation. This wonderful gift from heaven afforded them a chance to go sledding, but even more exciting, it gave them the opportunity to create a new companion, their very own snowman! Each of the jolly fellows had its own distinct expression and life expectancy. With a carrot from the pantry, coal from the furnace, twigs from the yard, an old hat and sometimes a pipe borrowed from Grandfather, a child would magically build a snowman. Their man of snow would disappear when the weather warmed, but lived on in childhood memories. Select this link to view our Christmas Snowman Gifts. Our snowy friends dance and that only children are able to see them. After a snowman has been built and left alone outdoors in the frigid air, he begins to come to life! The snowman dances to amuse and captivate the children who watch, for it brings happiness to his rather short life. So during Christmas, if your children seem to be staring out the window in a daze, do not worry, most likely a dancing snowman is entertaining them.

During the winter months, the snowman stands in the garden with his heart full of joy and snowflakes dancing around him. Children, dressed in warm winter jackets and thick wooly hats, laugh and throw snowballs. The snowman is the center of fun and games. Unfortunately, winter ends, and spring arrives again. The children begin to desire the warm summer sun and hardly pay attention to the snowman. His heart becomes sad, and tears begin to roll down his cheeks. Soon, the tears gradually dry up. The next day, the snowman will disappear from the garden. Select this link to view our Christmas Figurines.

What is a Music Box?
The music box is a 19th century automatic musical instrument that produces sounds by the use of a set of pins placed on a revolving cylinder so as to strike the tuned teeth of a steel comb. They were developed from musical snuff boxes of the 18th century and called “Carillons a Musique.” Some of the more complex boxes also have tiny drum and small bells, in addition to the metal comb. Alec Templeton, an avid collector of music boxes and a professional concert musician, once noted that the tone of a musical box is unlike that of any musical instrument.
