The manchester pine pre lit holiday wreaths have 252 tips. The pre lit holiday wreaths have three heavy duty wire rings with wire cross members connecting each ring to make a strong frame. The pre lit holiday wreaths are measured from the out stretched branch tip, on one side of the wreath, to the opposite out stretched branch tip. The sierra pre lit Christmas wreaths will match our sierra artificial prelit christmas trees. and sierra artificial garland and lighted Christmas garland.

Shaping your traditional Christmas wreaths: When you get your artificial wreath home it will be all crunched up. Lay it with the metal frame on the floor. Use your four fingers like a comb and gently comb through the tips, this will fluff it out a bit. Then you can shape some of the tips the same as you would for an artificial Christmas tree. Simply place your index finger on the end of the tip closest to the center of the wreath. Gently push down once with your finger tip, then move your finger back a little and continue until you have given the entire tip a gentle bend. Repeat this with as many of the wreath tips as you like. Just remember, a plant grows toward light. It would not be natural for a live wreath to have too many completely straight branch tips.

Storing your traditional Christmas wreaths: The first thing to consider when putting away your artificial wreath is if you crush your wreath up to store it away you will have to reshape it next year. Also the more times you crush the tips the weaker they can become, thus decreasing the life of your wreath. Another thing that will improve the life of your wreath is to keep it clean and free from dust and the elements while it is being stored. You can leave it with the lights on and cover it with a sheet, or store it loosely in a box or on a shelf. There are now several styles of wreath storage bags that will accommodate different sizes of wreaths, even with the lights included. Select this link to view our Christmas tree storage bags. I would suggest if you decorate it with ornaments, that you store the ornaments separately. Select this link to view our ornament storage boxes. You should be especially careful not to crush your wreath if you store it with the lights on. Doing so would seriously damage the light strands and break the bulbs.

Decorating Christmas wreaths: There are many ideas you can use for decorating Christmas wreaths, be creative. Pick a theme or color scheme and use your imagination. Decide where you want your decorated Christmas wreath displayed, step back about 10-20 feet, squint your eyes and visualize what you want to create, then go with it. You can add different lights like c-7’s, or other decorative lights, colored lights or lights that twinkle. Select this link to view our Christmas tree lights and outdoor Christmas decorations. Another idea for decorating Christmas wreaths is to add woody type Christmas picks with berries, flowers or fruit. Select this link to view our Christmas greenery, Christmas picks and vases. Even adding Christmas balls or other theme related ornaments, ribbons or bows add color and dimension to your decorated Christmas wreaths. Select this link to view our nutcracker ornaments.

Wreath history: In America we recognize the evergreen wreath as a symbol of Christmas. We hang them on our front doors and display them in other parts of our homes, though no on seems to know the history of this custom. The abundance of live plants and greens was a natural source of supplies. Many ancient cultures have revered plants and especially evergreens. They have long been a symbol of divine energy. At some point in time, the wreath became a door and wall ornament. The materials chosen for the wreath said a lot about what the wreath meant. A wreath made of holly and mistletoe might be used to shelter a home from the spirits of cold and winter.
