Red Rose Legend.
According to the legend, the daughter of one of the Shepherds was at the manger when the baby Jesus was born. Everyone came bearing gifts except the little girl. Having no gift to give, she began to cry. Where each tear fell, a white rose grew. She took the roses and gave them to the baby Jesus. As Jesus touched the roses, the
petals turned red as a sign of his delight. Whether given or received, the Christmas rose symbolizes gratitude, joy, love, and affection. Select this link to view our Wedding Day Glass Ornament Sets.
