The white berry sprays beads are attached to floral wire. The floral wire is wrapped in white floral tape, creating the branches on the white berry spray. The branches are wrapped in white floral tape, creating the base of the white berry spray. Our white berry spray is very icy looking. How to use decorative picks in a Christmas tree: Adding decorative picks and garlands to a Christmas tree truly enhances the look and character of the tree. For some real woody trees decorative picks and garlands can be the only decorations added to the tree. The very first thing you do is completely shape your tree. Select this link for more information from our Artificial Christmas Tree Shaping Guide. Add any lights that you might want to use on your tree. Select this link to view our Christmas tree lights and outdoor Christmas decorations. Next you would add decorative garland. Select this link to view our decorated country holiday garland. You don’t want to cover the entire tree with garland you just want to add some dimension and highlight. For a 7.5 ft tree you would add about 3 strands, depending on the width of the tree. Select this link to view our Christmas trees artificial. At this point you add decorative picks and other large, 4 inch diameter or larger ornaments. Select this link to view our unique Christmas ornaments. You will need about 7 of each item for a 7.5 ft tree and 9 for a 9ft tree and so on, it looks better if you use an odd number of decorative picks or ornaments. What you do is stand about 10 ft away from your tree and squint your eyes as you look at your tree. You will see all the large holes, or areas where large decorations will fit. You want to use decorative picks and sprays and other large ornaments to fill any spots where you can see all the way into the tree trunk. Put the decorative picks, sprays and ornaments into the hole or spot that needs to be filled. Some of them will go deeper into the tree than others. This gives dimension to the tree. Don’t put two of the same object next to each other. Stager them around the tree. Add the decorative picks and sprays first then add one style of large ornament at a time. You are not trying to completely cover the tree, you are filling in gaps or spots that need highlighting. Later after you have added all of your other smaller ornaments you can add a tinsel trim, such as our, gold silver or white, glitter rain. These are decorative picks that go into the tree at the very last. They have long glitter streamers, that hang down like rain, around the outside edge of the tree. You can add as many or as few as you like to highlight your Christmas tree.

How to store decorative picks: The first thing to consider when putting away your decorative picks or sprays is if you crush them for storage you will have to reshape them again next year. Also the more times you crush all the leaves, flower petals and berries, the weaker they can become, thus decreasing the life of your decorative picks and sprays. Another thing that will improve the life of your decorative picks and sprays is to keep it clean and free from dust and the elements while it is being stored. You can cover it with a sheet, and store it loosely in a box or on a shelf. There are now several styles of tree storage bags that will accommodate different sizes of Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands, even with the lights included.
