The metal twist on/off switch makes it easy to turn the battery powered electric candles off or on. Provides 200 continuous hours of battery candle light using two AA Alkaline batteries. To turn the battery operated candles Christmas Off and On you just twist the plastic cap at the bottom of the candle. The light bulbs are equipped with threaded screw in connecter. Make sure that you do not over tighten the light bulbs causing the protective glass covering to break or crack. Replace the proper light bulbs with like voltage replacement light bulbs.
