Six Piece Glass Wedding Ornament Set.

MSRP: $49.00
Our Price: $45.69

This Glass Wedding Ornament Set comes in a 12x12 in square box with a hinged lid. The box is covered with white, floral embossed fabric. Inside the box there is Styrofoam that has been covered with crinkled white satin like fabric. Each of the Wedding Ornaments fits into its own cutout in the Styrofoam. As well as keeping the ornaments safe, this gives the effect of the ornaments sitting in pillows of white satin. There is a 6½x9 inch “Congratulations” card with space to write the couples names, wedding date and your name. The first Wedding ornament is a 2¾ inch long heart with pearly white edging that looks like lace. The center of the heart is covered with silver glitter and is decorated with shiny silver roses with iridescent glitter, white flowers and green leaves. There is a pearly white ribbon, with silver glitter, going around the heart that ties in a bow on the front. The second ornament is five inches tall and depicts a couple in their Tuxedo and Wedding gown, dancing at their reception. The ornament is frosted all over with silver and white iridescent glitter. There is a round silver disk behind the couples head that read, “To Have ad to Hold.” There is a white banner edged with silver glitter going thru the middle of the ornament with room for you to personalize. The third ornament is a 4½ inch long pearly white wedding bell with a vivid violet ribbon that goes down the sides, around the bottom and ties in a bow at the top of the bell. There are pink roses with vivid yellow green leaves. The entire bell is frosted with white iridescent glitter. The fourth ornament is a 4½ inch long bottle of champagne with two glasses crossed in front. The glasses are decorated with a red heart and one says “BRIDE” and the other says “GROOM”. There is a large red heart at the bottom of the bottle. The fifth ornament is a 4¼ inch long church with a copper roof and copper topped bell tower. All the windows and doors are edged with gold glitter. The sixth ornament is a 4¾ inch tall dove ornament. There are two silvery white doves snuggled close together. They are sitting on a nest of pink, silvery white roses with brilliant yellow green leaves and a pearly white ribbon banner that says “Our First Christmas Together”. Silent Night Chapel
In 1816, the world’s most beloved Christmas song, “Stille Nacht” or “Silent Night” was written by Father Joseph Mohr. Franz Gruber, Mohr’s friend, composed the music. “Stille Nacht” was sung, in German, for the very first time on Christmas Eve in 1818 in the St. Nikolaus Church, Oberndorf by Salzburg, Austria.
The organ was broken, so the song was accompanied by guitar. In 1907, St. Niklous Church was damaged in a flood and torn down.
In memory of this famous landmark and “Stille Nacht”, the Austrian people built the “Silent Night Chapel” on the altar site of the original St. Nikolaus church.
The Silent Night Chapel took 13 years to complete, from 1924 through 1934 and formally dedicated in 1937. Select this link to view our Other Blown Glass Ornaments.

Care of your Glass Ornaments
Please wrap your ornaments individually in acid free tissue paper to preserve your heirloom quality ornaments for years to come.
Avoid using any plastic bubble wrap or storing your ornaments in plastic storage containers as it does not allow for proper ventilation.
For safe keeping, use a sturdy cardboard box with a strong cover.
Be careful not to put too many ornaments on top of each other. It’s best to use an ornament storage box that has layered compartments. Select this link to view our Ornament Storage Boxes.
Carefully store your Glass ornament collection in a safe, dry place away from extreme temperatures, water, sun or fluorescent light and other outside elements. Select this link to view our Our First Christmas Together Ornament.
