Included with your Best Christmas Tree Stand will be (4) 5½ in curved bolts, (4) red handles for each bolt, (4) square nuts, and (4) dead-ended washer nuts. Assembly of this Heavy Duty Tree Stand will require a minimal amount of time, and the shape of this Easy Christmas Tree Stand will help you keep it hidden under your Christmas Tree Skirt.
Assembly of your Heavy Duty Christmas Tree Stand:
Following the numbers in the picture above, set your Easy Christmas tree stand up in this order after you first, unpack the nuts and bolts, and separate the pieces into groups of like items:
1. Attach the red handles to the curved ends of each bolt by simply sliding the curved ends into the appropriate grooves on each of the red handles, until you hear it click into place.
2. If you look at the tops of each of the four pillars, on the base of your Heavy Duty Tree Stand, you will see a picture in two of the horizontal grooves on the top of them, slide each of the square nuts, vertically, into these four vertical slots, just as you would a chip in the game Connect-Four. Do not put the nuts into the horizontal grooves, which appear to face the ceiling, on your unique christmas tree stand. Those are merely decorative grooves (to help you with this, keep in mind when you look through the hole provided for these curved bolts, you should be looking into the center of your best tree stand, through the pillar, and the center of one of the square nuts).
3. Slide the curved bolt through the holes on the pillars, and make sure you screw it in through the square nut. The placement of this square nut will help prevent your tree from falling over, and eliminates the need for this hole to be threaded, thereby strengthening the integrity of the stand as a whole.
4. Once you have screwed in the curved bolts, allow them to protrude past the pillar just enough to screw on the ‘dead-end’ washer nuts. The “washer-like” side of the nut should face the trunk of your tree. Screw these in by hand, and only tighten them as much as you are physically able to, as these nuts will tighten greatly once you tighten the bolts against the trunk of your tree.
5. Now simply slide your Unique Christmas Tree into the center of your Stand, allowing the center of the bottom of the trunk to slide onto the three nails on the bottom (this will help keep your tree steady, while you tighten each bolt).
6. Tighten each of the four bolts in almost the same manner you would the bolts on the tires of your car. Tighten one just enough to touch the trunk, and then the one opposite of it to the exact same position. Then tighten the other two in like fashion. Now that each of the four bolts are up against the trunk of the tree, tighten each bolt one full turn at a time in a clockwise, or counter-clockwise around your heavy duty tree stand. A simple diagram of these instructions also appears on the label attached to your Christmas tree stands. Refilling of the basin of this unique tree stand, can be made easier should you purchase one of our Live Christmas Tree Watering Systems.
The Heavy Duty Live Tree Stand comes with a 10 year warrenty.
