This outdoor socket adapter will allow you to plug in your lights from any light socket. The socket adapter has a hinged cover to help protect it from moisture. The weather resistant construction insures continued performance during the Christmas season. This socket adapter makes getting electricity to your outdoor lights easy. To reduce the risks of electrical shock use the socket adapter in a dry location. The outdoor socket adapters are not surge protectors. The outdoor socket adapter is rated 300 watts maximum. Make sure to plug the outdoor socket adapter into a 110/120-volt rated receptacle. Fully insert all the electrical plugs into the socket adapter. Do not overload the outdoor socket adapter with Christmas tree lights and outdoor Christmas decorations. If the number of watts is not marked on the appliance, multiply ampere rating (on nameplate) by 125 to determine equivalent watts. Add determined watts for each plugged-in appliance or lamp (sum of watts on bulbs) to find total watts being used. The socket adapters are not for water immersion or for use where directly exposed to water. Inspect the plug in outlet strip periodically for defects. Do Not repair or modify the socket adapter.
