It is 17.5 inches from the rotary switch to the first light bulb. The green box of the battery operated Indoor Christmas Light measures 2.75 inches wide, 3.75 inches long and is 1 inches deep. With the batteries inserted the battery box is 1.25 inches tall. They will stay lite for about 30 hours. Battery light bulbs are a special low voltage bulb and are not interchangeable with other light sets. Two pull in and out style 2.5 to 3 volt replacement battery bulbs included.
