The Indoor Surge Protector Strip Safety Box
has six outlets for Power Strips and Power Protection Supplies extension cords. The plug in 6 outlet surge protector has an on and off switch to make turning your Christmas lights on and off simple without unplugging several extension cords. The 6 outlet surge protector has a 2.5 foot extension cord attached to it for easy placement near or under a tree. Four keyhole slots in the back make it easy to mount with screws on walls, under cabinets, or on counter tops. The 1 to 6 surge protector allow six Indoor Christmas Light extension cords to be inserted. The protector strips are rated to handle up to 15 amps, 1875 watts of current. The circuit breaker is rated at 60Hz with a maxium surge surrent of 550 Amps and 6000 volts. The surge protector nickel-plated plug blades are made for a longer life and better electrical contact. If the ciruit breaker trips due to a power overload, unplug and remove the lights that caused the excess power drain and reset the circuit breaker button. To reduce the risk of electrical shock use the 6 outlet surge protector indoors and in a dry location. Do not overload the surge protector strip outlets with Holiday Lights and Decorative Party Lights. Do not coil the electrical power cables while in service. Fully insert all the electrical plugs into the grounded six way outlet surge protector box. Use the surge protector unit within the electrical rating marked on the unit. Do Not plug more than a total of 1875 watts in the electric power strips. If the number of watts are not marked on the appliance, multiply ampere rating (on nameplate) by 125 to determine equivalent watts. Add determined watts for each plugged-in appliance or lamp (sum of watts on bulbs) to find total watts being used. The electrical surge protector strips are not for water immersion or for use where directly exposed to water. Inspect the plug in surge protector strip periodically for defects.
