Important Safety Instructions: The foot tapper switch is a polarized cord set. It has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) and a polarized outlet (one slot is longer than the other). The polarized plug is not intended to be mated with non-polarized outlets (having both slots the same size). A polarized outlet is intended to mate with a polarized plug in only one way (the longer slot with the wider blade).
Caution:
Unplug the electric power cables when the remote control light switch base is not in use for extended periods of time. Fully insert the power cords plug into the grounded outlet. Use within the electrical rating marked on the remote set. Do Not plug more than a total of 600 watts in the power cables remote set. If the number of watts is not marked on the appliance to be used, multiply ampere rating (on nameplate) by 125 to determine equivalent watts. Add determined watts for each plugged-in appliance or lamp (sum of watts on bulbs) to find total watts being used. Operating temperature range is -22 degrees Fahrenheit to 113 degrees Fahrenheit or -30 degrees centigrade to 45 degrees centigrade. Install the power cable and remote controls above ground level with the receptacle hanging in a downward position so it will not fill up with water when it is raining or snowing. The remote controls are suitable for damp locations. The remote control light switch is NOT for water immersion or for use where directly exposed to water. Inspect the remote control lights unit periodically for defects. Do Not use a damaged remote control power switch set. Do Not splice, repair or modify this remote control lighting unit. Store the remote control lights unit indoors when not in use. Pictures of remote controls are not actual size.
