The blue steady burning transparent replacement bulbs are rated for USA 4 volts. The blue light bulb mini replacements are pre-tested and guaranteed to light. Replacing Mini Light Bulbs
1. Make sure set is unplugged.
2. Pull Mini Light bulb and its base straight out of the socket.
3. If your bulb must be removed from it’s base, straighten out the wires which are at the base and gently pull on the bulb.
4. Insert the new bulb by guiding each of its two wires into its own opening at the bottom of the base. Then, bend each wire upward over the base.
5. Push bulb and base back into the socket, matching grooves so that the bent wires touch the metal plates in the socket.

When using Christmas replacement light bulbs, basic precautions should always be followed including these Christmas replacement light bulb safety tips.
If the replacement bulbs still do not light check the light set overload fuses.
A blown fuse indicates an overloaded circuit and you need to reduce the amount of replacement light bulbs connected to the circuit. A blown fuse may also be caused by a short-circuit and the Christmas light set with the short-circuit should be discarded.
1.) Always unplug your lights with replacement bulbs installed before installing or replacing the Christmas light fuses.
2.) Slide open the light fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the plug in metal blades.
3.) Remove the fuses carefully.
4.) To avoid the risk of fire replace the blown fuses with like amp and volt fuses that were provided with the Christmas lights and replacement bulbs.
5.) Slide closed the fuse access cover by sliding the cover closed so that all fuse tabs latch.
6.) To avoid the risk of fire do not replace the factory Christmas light plug. The factory light plug contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removes. Discard the light set if the plug is damaged.
