This is a 9 foot strand of sparkling beads. The red shatterproof balls range from 1¼ inch diameter to 15 and 16mm. There are also 1 inch long red teardrops and ½ long faceted, teardrop beads. The green beads consist of 13mm balls, ½ inch faceted diamond shapes, tiny 6mm faceted, oval spacers and 15mm cartwheel beads. Tinsel was invented in 1610, and was soon used to decorate trees. Tinsel garland was originally made from actual silver. It was beautiful, but prone to tarnishing of course.
