This very peppy Cheerleader is 5½ inches tall and shows the Cheerleader completing a most energetic cheer routine. She is wearing a one piece uniform with red and white striped top and red pleated skirt with white strips around the bottom, white socks and white shoes with black strips. She is standing on the toe of her left foot with her right leg bent so her thigh is level with her hips and her toes are pointed against her left knee. Her arms are stretched above her head and her hands are together with a red iridescent white fuzzy pompom in each hand. Her hair is tied back with a red ribbon that is tied in a bow at the crown of her head. What a wonderful Birthday Present these ornaments would make for your favorite Cheerleader! King Ludwig II and Neushwanstein Castle.
King Ludwig II was the King of Bavaria during the late 1800’s. He is remembered for his lavish lifestyle, his passion for building magnificent castles, and his obsession with the musical composer, Richard Wagner. He believed in enjoying life to the fullest. His extravagant manner led to such nicknames as the dream king or the mad king of Bavaria. His most famous castle, Neuschwanstein, is a glorious site to see. A picture out of a fairy tale, this popular castle is the most visited castle in Germany and the castle after which Cinderella’s Castle was fashioned. Select this link to view our Music Boxes.

Birthday Cake Traditions.
Birthday Cakes are usually elaborately decorated and some times follow a theme having to do with a talent or interest of the Birthday person. Select this link to view our Ornament Storage Boxes.
The Birthday Cake Tradition is for the cake to be presented covered with the same number of lit candles as the persons age. The Birthday person makes a wish and tries to blow out all the candles in one breath. If successful and he or she does not tell anyone the wish, then it is supposed to come true. Some people add an extra candle, “One to Grow On,” to help bring the Birthday person extra luck during the year. Select this link to view our Unique Christmas Ribbon. Candy Cane History.
The candy cane to many is a delicious Christmas treat. Centuries ago, a simple candy maker needed to create a perfect gift for the King. The candy was shaped into an upside down “J” in order to represent the Good Shepherd’s staff. However, the candy maker wanted it to mean more. He added white and red stripes. The white represented the birth of Christ and the red would stand for the blood Jesus shed. The candy maker knew this would be the most perfect gift the King had ever received.
