M&M Chocolate Candies are candy coated pieces of chocolate with the letter "m" printed on them, produced by Mars, Incorporated. Several variations of the candy exist, including milk chocolate, peanut, mint chocolate, cherry cordial, dulce de leche, toffee, crispy, almond, peanut butter, white chocolate and dark chocolate. The candies were originally manufactured in brown, yellow, orange, red, green, and violet. Violet was replaced by tan in 1949, which was replaced by blue in 1995. M&M currently has recognizable spokescandies which appear in comical commercials. They include the cynical and sardonic Red whose voice was originally Jon Lovitz, then switched to Billy West, he is the mascot for milk chocolate M&Ms. Then the happy and gullible Yellow originally voiced by John Goodman, then J.K. Simmons, he is the mascot for peanut M&Ms. Blue is voiced by Robb Pruitt and is the mascot for almond M&Ms. Green is Cree Summer, the only female mascot for M&Ms, she is the mascot for peanut butter M&Ms. Eric Kirchberger is the voice for Orange, he is also the voice for other types of M&Ms in general.
