Our 72 inch Norway Christmas wreaths
have 1200 thick dark green branches and the indoor or outdoor needles are made of poly vinyl. The 72 inch Norway Pine Christmas wreaths will match our Norway Pine Artificial Prelit Christmas Trees and Norway Pine Artificial Garland and Lighted Christmas Garland. The wreaths have heavy duty wire rings with wire cross members connecting each ring to make a strong sturdy frame to connect the decorative Christmas wreath branches to. The heavy duty metal frame comes in four sections that need to be bolted together (Bolts are Included). The factory measures these 72 Inch wreaths from the out stretched branch tip, on one side of the wreath, to the opposite out stretched branch tip. After the wreath has been shaped the actual inside diameter is 39 Inches across and the outside diameter is 66 Inches. Select to look at all of our Christmas Decorations Ideas for the holidays.

Shaping An Artificial Christmas Wreath: When you get your artificial wreath home it will be all crunched up. Lay it with the metal frame on the floor. Use your four fingers like a comb and gently comb through the tips, this will fluff it out a bit. Then you can shape some of the tips the same as an artificial Christmas tree. Simply place your index finger on the end of the tip closest to the center of the wreath. Gently push down once with your finger tip, then move your finger back a little and continue until you have given the entire tip a gentle bend. Repeat this with as many of the wreath tips as you like. Just remember, a plant grows toward light. It would not be natural for a live wreath to have too many completely straight branch tips.

Lighting and Decorating An Artificial Wreath: To start adding your lights, attach your light cord to the back of the wreath, on the metal frame. Pull the lights up through the wreath from the back. Zigzag your way across the wreath while wrapping lights onto some of the tips. Select this link to view our Indoor Christmas Light. Wrap some lights closer to the end of the tip and some a little farther down. Keep going all the way around the wreath. The idea is to conceal as much of the cord as possible with the remaining unlit tips. Some things to avoid are, having too many lights next to each other and going in a straight line. You want the lights to be in more of a random order. You can use twinkle, C-7 or colored lights to give a more decorative look. Select this link to view our Christmas Outdoor Lights. For your convenience we have several types of Extension Cords, Remote Controls, Power Strips and Power Protection Supplies available for safely connecting the electrical power for your wreath.
There are many ideas you can use for decorating Christmas wreaths, be creative. Pick a theme or color scheme and use your imagination. Decide where you want your decorated Christmas wreath displayed. An idea for decorating Christmas wreaths is to add woody type Christmas picks with berries, flowers or fruit. Select this link to view our Mistletoe, Christmas Greenery, Christmas Picks. Even adding Christmas balls or other theme related ornaments, ribbons or bows add color and dimension to your Decorative Christmas Wreaths.

Storing Your Christmas Door Wreaths: The first thing to consider when putting away your artificial wreath is if you crush your wreath up to store it away you will have to reshape it next year. Also the more times you crush the tips the weaker they can become, thus decreasing the life of your wreath. Another thing that will improve the life of your wreath is to keep it clean and free from dust and the elements while it is being stored. To store your 72 inch wreath with or without lights we recommend the WreathKeeper Christmas Wreath Storage Bag. I would suggest if you decorate it with ornaments, that you store the ornaments separately in one of our Ornament Storage Boxes for better protection.
