The Tree Stand for Artificial Tree
haa a 38 inch leg span and they will hold an Artificial Christmas Tree with a 1.25 Inch diameter tree pole. No assembly is required for these steel tree stands. These Heavy Duty Metal Christmas Tree Stands are ideal for trees 9 feet tall and larger. To protect the paint on these artificial Christmas tree stands they should be placed on a cloth (if on a hard surface), or onto a carpeted floor. Do not drag these stands. Select to see a complete listing of our Christmas Decorations Ideas.

These Tree Stands are Easy to Use:
1. Unfold the stand.
2. Screw in the wing screw, into the only hole provided for it on the stand, just far enough to prevent the stand from folding again.
3. See steps below; you are finished with the assembly. Select this link to read more on our Artificial Christmas Trees and X-mas Trees Guide.

To ensure that your tree stands up straight follow these simple steps:
1. Make sure that the wing screw on the tree stand is not screwed in (all the way) BEFORE you place the tree base into the stand.
2. Insert the base of the tree into the tree stand.
3. Screw the wing screw in one half turn at a time, being sure to keep the tree pressed up against the side opposite the wing screw until the screw is tight.

Tree Storage Preparation
Prior to setting your Christmas tree up, if you want to make the process of taking it down quicker and easier, you may want to consider following this simple plan (keep in mind this plan is intended for use with the Clear Poly Vinyl Tree Bag, not for any canvas bags):
1. Before you place your Christmas tree into any tree stand, lay flat your poly vinyl tree bag and find the middle of the bottom of the tree bag; the side opposite the opening where the base of the tree would touch. Make a hole in the bag just wide enough for the pole of the tree to poke through.
2. During the setting up of your Christmas tree (just after step 1 of the directions above titled To ensure your tree stands up straight) as soon as you have the base in its desired location, place the tree bag over the stand and allow the stand to protrude through the hole you made in the base of the bag.
3. Then simply roll the remainder of the bag down on itself. You can then place a tree skirt over the base and the bag to disguise this from any guests and keep a nice appearance.
4. After Christmas, when its time to take the tree down, simply remove the tree skirt and unroll the poly vinyl bag over the tree as you pull it out of the tree stand.
5. Within a few short minutes, your tree is down and inside the storage bag and ready for you to discard the tree or place it into your storage facility. Select this link to read about our Christmas Tree Storage Bags.

Tips On Trimming The Tree Trunk Of Live Trees:

  • 1. Cut at least .5 inch off the bottom of the Christmas tree trunk. Place the open cut of the tree trunk into water ASAP or no more than 2 hours after making the cut.
  • 2. Cut off all the branches that are at least 10 inches from the bottom of the live Christmas tree.
  • 3. Cut extra notches into the 10 inch area and bottom of the tree trunk to allow more water penetration into the live Christmas tree.

Four Easy Steps for Tree Insulation:

  • 1. Pull the metal pins out by pressing in the metal lock lever.
  • 2. Place the live Christmas tree trunk down onto the center spike.
  • 3. Push the metal pins in to tighten the Christmas tree into place.
  • 4. Adjust the metal pins to straighten the Christmas tree.
