What is a Conestoga Wagon?
The Conestoga wagon is a heavy, broad wheeled covered freight carrier used extensively during the Westward Expansion in the late 17 and 1800s. It was large enough to transport loads up to 7-8 tons and was drawn by either 4-8 mules or 4-6 oxen. Select this link to view our Hunting Ornaments.

What is a Stagecoach?
A stagecoach is a type of four wheeled enclosed passenger and or mail coach, strongly sprung and drawn by four horses, widely used before the introduction of railway transport. The stagecoach was first developed in the British Isles during the 1500’s, and only died out in the early 1900’s in the United States. Coaching inns opened up throughout Europe to accommodate stagecoach passengers. Shakespeare’s first plays were staged at coaching inns. The stagecoach was vital in the colonization of North America. Christmas Story
Starting on December 6th and lasting until January 6th, Christmastime is celebrated continually throughout Germany. It is a time for joy and thanks. Spirits run high as everyone comes together. Whether for dancing or just for entertainment, music is always played as part of the festivities. One of the most distinctive instruments heard in the nostalgic air is the horn. They are still heard today throughout the streets of German villages bringing laughter and cheer to all. Horns are used in churches across the world as a special addition to the liturgical season.
