Doing so will give you an idea of how much excess room you will need. Put each section of your tree into the bag, in order, from largest to smallest. The top of your tree and your Christmas tree stand should be placed into the bag last. If your tree is less than 7-1/2ft tall, than you should not have to expand this TreeKeeper Duffel Bag in order to make it fit. We recommend you expand your bag if have a very heavy, or very full 7-1/2ft tree, or any tree larger. It should be noted that this is merely a recommendation so you can save space. Larger trees may be able to fit into the rolling storage bag without expanding it.
