If you can try to keep all of your decorations white and clear it will help create a white picturesque glow.

Using a flocked Christmas tree as your main focal point will help, or if you feel so daring, buy a completely white Christmas tree to put on display. You can use garland that has been flocked inside your home on doorways, mantles and up the staircase so it looks as if it’s been kissed by freshly fallen snow. Use white and silver ornaments to accent your garland and use large decorative white and silver ribbon to embellish your garland display. Use the same idea by adorning your Christmas tree with white and silver ornaments. You can add extra dimension by adding some clear glass ornaments as well. When you light up your tree use white lights in a steady or flickering pattern and the light will reflect off all of the silver and glass ornaments to present a radiant display.
